Since leaving the Caribbean I have been wanting to find out how to choose a good hotel in Kralendijk. The place is only an hour from Amsterdam and a short rail ride away, so I figure it would be worth the trip. However, not everything I read was encouraging. I read that the hotels in the area are high-end and that you will need a lot of money to stay comfortably, but I didn't know what the rest of the amenities were like. I'm on a tight budget, so this type of hotel or establishment is out of the question. I did, however, find a few options that would fit my budget and provide the amenities I want.
The first option I found is a small, but very comfortable bed and breakfast on the seafront. It has a garden, and all rooms have a balcony or patio for an open balcony experience. It is a beautiful room and has all the comforts of home, including a microwave, cooker and coffee maker. All rooms have free WiFi and cable Internet available, which made preparing breakfast much easier than it would be in a more high-class hotel.
My second choice is a beautiful bed and breakfast located just outside the city. This beautiful resort is very private and comes fully equipped with tennis court, sauna, swimming pool, Jacuzzi and everything a tourist would need. It is also a very affordable option, with packages starting at just around $150 per night, which includes breakfast included. There are several packages available, so everyone in your group can enjoy the same quality and hospitality. There are many choices available in Kralendijk, and I was able to choose the hotel I want by simply looking at the availability of each and the price.
